A little church history....
The original church was built in 1896, at the corner of N. 6th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Apollo. In 1997, the church relocated two miles east of Apollo in Kiskiminetas Township. The new property consisted of a brick church building and a fellowship hall/gym. A new sanctuary was constructed in 2005.
The Rev. Darrell L. Carney served as pastor of the church from 1982-2008. Rev. Carney and his wife are enjoying an active retirement.
In June 2009, Rev. Forrest States was appointed as pastor at the church. Rev. States had been serving as the Senior Pastor of the Free Methodist Church in Gerry, New York.
